Graduate Program in International Studies

The Graduate Program in International Studies integrates policy analysis, international security, economics, history, and geography to prepare students for advanced careers in international organizations and in academia. The Graduate Program consists of two degree tracks: the Master of Arts (M.A.) and the Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.). ‌

The graduate curriculum develops knowledge and skills related to complex transnational issues and it provides students with qualitative and quantitative coursework necessary to succeed in the field.  Graduate students are required to demonstrate proficiency in a language other than English to prepare them to manage real-world situations in settings outside of the United States.

*The MA Program is currently receiving applications for Fall 2020. The PhD Program is not receiving new applications.
